My New Toy

After a long wait and survey, I manage to get myself a new notebook, Compaq Presario V3000.
I bought it from the PC fair last Saturday.

This is how it looks like, a dark grey machine!

It’s not a very sky high type of specification but it’s more than sufficient for me except the RAM, I upgrade it to 2GB, so that I can do some graphic works or perhaps play some games!

Got to highlight that, it’s a product of China. Damn, Made in China everywhere!

nVidia graphics is one of the main concern I decide to buy this notebook. The sale person said it has 128MB dedicated memory and can goes up to 512MB with system shared memory if needed. Don’t know he tuapou (bluff) or not.

Altec Lansing audio is my personal favorite, nice sound! Enjoy the cool music while I blog proved to be enjoyable!

First I though it’s just the light indicators, I only know it’s actually a touch screen function until my friend told me so. No wonder I can’t find the mute and volume button, I’m so stupid!

The best part about PC fair is the free gifts. My Compaq Presario comes with one headphone and optical mouse which I consider no good enough but free. The only gift I like is the Targus trademark backpack, so I can bring along my notebook to climb Mount Kinabalu next time, hehe think only!

The notebook performance no bad so far and very stable indeed. The only shortcoming I believe is the heat problem, it’s getting hot warm after some time, luckily not hot and spicy or else become KFC fried chicken!
