Lau Ta Fu is my friend. I know him for several years but yet I don’t really understand him. He used to be a very nice guy. He virtually owns everything he wants, bright career, big house, luxury cars, dream vacations, lovely wife and daughters …….. But, he always looks like in a state of suffering, depression, grief, anxiety, and pain! He keeps on complaining about his wife, not satisfies with his car, wants more authority, envious of others…….. He’s looking for true happiness. Therefore, he trades his soul to the devil, walks in the counsel of the wicked, stands in the way of sinners and sits in the seat of mockers! I feel like I don’t know him anymore.
One day, he came to me.
Fu: I have everything that you don’t have, but why you look happier than me?
I answered him indirectly.
MW: If I exchange my happiness with all you have? Do you accept?
Fu: Hmmm…No, I don’t!
I replied with a smile on my face.
MW: That’s why you’re not happy!
Finding true happiness is a very personal journey. For me, I appreciate what I have even there are not as good as others. I know happiness is depends upon ourselves, it is born from the internal workings of our own minds. Abraham Lincoln said, “Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” I’m happy! What about you?
It this a true incident? It’s a very good moral story! Sometimes we all chase everything in life and the only thing we all need is happiness… Yet it’s something that even I find it hard to do it! *Guilty*

Nice post. Many rich people do not have happiness as they go for riches and forget about happiness.
We see more happiness from the face of people who are wage earners. Why is it?
Becoz they are contented with what they
spend more quality time with family and frens.
MW: That’s why sometime I pity the rich!

It’s like what stated in the bible. A rich, young man asked Jesus what he should do to be happy and Jesus replied, “Sold your properties and gave them to the poor and follow me…”. The young man left in sorrow.
MW: Yes, sometime has to let go…..
