Wifey vs Galfriend

Got a SMS from my ex colleague. Sounds like this:

Don’t know whether to laugh or to cry! It makes me remember somebody said,

A man loves his sweetheart (girlfriend?!) the most, his wife the best, but his mother the longest!

Oops, there is no mother in this SMS, I wonder how it gonna be if Wifey vs Monther or Girlfriend Vs Mother. :P
