Frogs under the coconut shell

After reading Clare’s interesting post on 2007 World University Rankings,

I sat down quietly. Thinking about what they had said and I came out with this:

“Frogs under the coconut shell”
(Katak di bawah tempurung)

Yeah, that’s the phrase appeared in my mind. Chinese call it “A frog in a well” ( ???? ). We don’t see any changes to all those narrow minded mental even after sending the first ever Astronaut (space tourist?!) to space!

Well, time to open your mind and try to understand what Mao Tse-Tung (Chinese statesman, the key figure in China in the 20th century, 1893-1976) said, “We think too small, like the frog at the bottom of the well. He thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced, he would have an entirely different view.
