No England in Euro 2008

England failed to qualify for Euro 2008 as they lost 3-2 to Croatia at Wembley. The result, coupled with Russia’s 1-0 win in Andorra, means England will only be spectators for next summer’s European Championship. In fact, the defeat ensured England has failed to reach the finals of a major international tournament for the first time since the 1994 World Cup. As a result, the future of under-fire England manager Steve McClaren is indeed in doubt! If he “steps down”, who will be the next England Manager?
