Auto Posting with WordPress Timestamp Feature

One of the best features that came with WordPress is the Post Timestamp feature. I like it so much because I can write the post in advance and set the timestamp for a date in the future. The post will not be published until the time I specified. So you might think of writing 4 or 5 posts and spread your posts out over a few days on auto posting while you are away for a vacation or perhaps a business trip.

Here’s how it works.

1. Write your post as usual.

2. Click on ‘Edit’ in the publish Status area.

3. Set your desired date and time in the future.

4. Remember to click Publish instead of Save.

Reminder:
Clicking Save button will leave your post as a draft and will not be published automatically.

When the time comes, WordPress will automatically publish your post. If you never use Post Timestamp feature before, try it and I’m pretty sure you will like it as much as I do.
