The sudden rise in the price of fuel on 5th June 2008 has begun to affect our lives and living standards. If the increase had been more gradual, we would not feel it so much. Unfortunately, we can’t change the situation and have to accept the fact that our living cost has increased dramatically. Just go around and check on the prices of various commodities, you will know what I’m talking about – Inflation! And of course the increase hurts ordinary people like us the most. Our income will never able to catch up with our expenses these days. So it’s no surprise that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The gap in between the rich and the poor will become greater! Is it something what we want? :no:
Warren Buffet’s wealth – mostly in the form of shares – also dropped 20%. Not necessarily the rich get richer…
At least the rich could still find ways to make more profit compare to those modern slaves… :thinking:
