Pay Raise: Good New?
If you work in same company without any pay raise for 3 years, you might curse your boss to the hell like I do. LOL! Frankly, I don’t! I just keep quiet and do my jobs until he asked me to see him in his office one day. He told me he decided to give me 5% pay raise. Did I feel great about it? Did I ROTFLMAO! Apparently not! And I didn’t even smile. As a matter of fact, 5% is just nothing comparing to the 40% hike in petrol price. Needless to say my workload has increased X times than before. Well, I shall feel thankful at least there is a tiny improvement on my paycheque figures after several years. Hmm… I will still call myself a pathetic modern slave as long as I work for other! :nottalk:

5% is not bad. assuming a person earns 5k a month it will mean monthly increase of Rm250 or Rm3000 a year.
Looks like you still enjoy your job there
. Can not imagine 3 years without salary increment. Better start update your CV now!!
