Ingredients – Yee Mee with fish balls, crab sticks, vegetable and egg.

Cooking Yee Mee is simple. First, put the fish balls inside the boiling water followed by Yee Mee.

Add in the egg.

Then vegetable and crab stick. Don’t forget to add in some salt.

It’s ready to be served. Yum-Yum!

Come to cleaning part, I wish somebody could give me a hand. LOL!

Okay, let’s see what they serve. The Laksa here serves in 3 different sizes: normal, big and special.

Donkey tried a normal type, I ordered a big one, first I thought to order the special one, but afraid they put something special that I can’t eat like monkey meat, just kidding.

I feel better after that square meal. It was really a enjoyable dinner that worth every single cent paid.

Looked at my fridge, all right, cooked my own version of ‘Mee Goreng’ = Monkey Fried Noodle!

I got myself ready with:

1. Instant noodle
2. Bovril
3. Fried onion oil
4. Pickled lettuce
5. Fish balls
6. Crab Stick
7. Fresh Vegetable
8. Egg

First, I poured the ‘seasoning’, Bovril and fried onion oil on the plate.

Fried the egg while waiting for the water to boil.

Okay, put the fish balls into the boiling water.

And followed by the instant noodle.

Added the vegetable and crab stick at last!

I took noodle out from the water and drained it. Mixed it well with seasoning.

Added with some pickled lettuce, yeah…..time to eat? Wait! Something was missing!

Arg huh, here came my favorite drink, milk!

Yum yum! Nothing left after 3 minutes!

Anyway back to the Japanese Restaurant called Saisaki.

It was my first time there. Before we started the ‘battle’, we decided to do some survey first, and I curi curi snapped some pictures for your ‘reference’.

Wow, Sushi, variety of Sushi! I reckon this could be a paradise for Nastasshea and Baby Fiona, the Sushi lovers!

Zaru Soba, Cha Soba….. I loves Japanese noodle!

All in all, you could find sashimi, sushi, tempura, teppanyaki…….. Too many foods to eat, but I got only one stomach, too bad, I wish I’m camel!

After that, he brought us to Kassim Mustafa where he claimed that is the best in Penang (don’t know he tua pao or not)

There were variety of curries and side dishes.

So, we got the steamed rice which can be plain or mildly flavored first. Do you ever see someone eating like this?

Some people say if you come to Sarawak without eating it is just like you never been here. How true is it, no comment. I like it also, but you know you can’t eat it everyday, day and night, feel sien (boring) also and I guarantee you will vomit after eating it for a week.

You see, you can’t do too much change onto it, with sauce or without sauce, with Char siu (Barbecued pork) or without Char siu, with dumpling or with dumpling, with durian or without durian, what else we can do, don’t tell me to add cheese onto it. So, I decide to try Fly Fried Kampua (Kampua Goreng).

This is how it looks like.

Okay, it gots Char siu, egg, vegetable and prawn. Look pretty delicious. Taste good, but a bit too oily for me.

Ordinary kampua is as good as a lady without make up, this fried kampua definitely ‘brighten’ your day with a lot of add on, just like those sexy girls with nice make up out there.

Which type I like? Off course both, one today, the other type tomorrow, wah, so nice……..ok, ok, I mean the kampua not girl, I’m very very holy one!:P
