Browse around your c-panel and look for a button that says “Fantastico” or “Fantastico De Luxe.” You might have to install it manually if you couldn’t find it (when Fantastico is not available). Anyway, the following video will walk you through all the steps to get WordPress installed on your website using Fantastico.

To uninstall it, click WordPress on the left side of your Fantastico cPanel. Under the Current Installations area, click on Remove link which is next to the directory you are about to uninstall. Click on the “Remove WordPress” button will uninstall the WordPress directory and database. That’s it!

You can have a look at my Contact Form. Simple but straight forward! And it comes with spam protection.

Let me show you how to install the plugin.

1. Download it here.
2. Extract and upload it to your plugin folder using FTP program.
3. Log into your WordPress admin panel and activate the plugin.
4. Update the fields with your information under Contact Form Setting.

5. Create a page or post and paste the code where you want the Contact Form to be appeared.
6. Done!

Here’s how it works.

1. Write your post as usual.

2. Click on ‘Edit’ in the publish Status area.

3. Set your desired date and time in the future.

4. Remember to click Publish instead of Save.

Reminder:
Clicking Save button will leave your post as a draft and will not be published automatically.

When the time comes, WordPress will automatically publish your post. If you never use Post Timestamp feature before, try it and I’m pretty sure you will like it as much as I do.

Phew~ I managed to upgrade my old WordPress to New WordPress 2.3.1. Why upgrading? Well, some of the following new features in WordPress 2.3.1 really impress me. Of course, the security measure is always my main concern.

Upgrading process was pretty smooth. As usual, I got to backup all my data, deactivate all the plugins and blah blah blah … Thank GOD, no errors found so far (Touch wood). Unfortunately, as expected my old theme and some of the plugins are not fully compatible with WordPress 2.3.1.

New versions of plugins notification

No choice, I got to fix all the problems. First, found a new theme and customized it according to my monkey style. Then, reinstall most of the plugins. Since I didn’t want to spend too much time on these works, I did it in rush! Felt like chasing by a dog!

Yeah, that reminded me I once ran almost 400 metres just because of a darn crazy dog chased me for an unknown reason! Perhaps she liked monkey! Okay, that’s my new header for new theme!

So when I find this little EasyTube plugin, I’m a happiest man in the world.

EasyTube is very easy to use, as simple as ABC.

I can just embed any YouTube or Google video into my WordPress supported blog using a simple tag. The only thing I need to know is the URL for the YouTube or Google video that I like.

I love you Paul for this little but useful plugin, for sure it will bring me a lot fun.

Internet Explorer is good for me until I use wordpress as blogging platform recently.

I found out the WordPress does not really work well with IE.

Okay, first look is fine. But when I want to type my post, errr…where is my toolbar?

It’s gone, no matter how I refresh the page, it’s just missing.

IE shows that Error on page.

So, I ask someone. They said Firefox is better, 90% of bloggers using it and it’s more secure.

OIC, so I go around and found the FireFox.

Wait for no more, just download it and have a try.

As usual, download is smooth, installing is easy, no problem at all.

Then, I use the FireFox to log into my WordPress.

And I like the Tab function in FireFox, very convenient and easy to use.

I think I will start to use FireFox to blog from now onward.

I love wordpress because of the theme.

You can see that I’m using the modified version of BrightSide theme. I find it is very nice, but I just need something that look even simple than that. So, I try to modify it to suit my need.

I took so much time to test and modified on the #$%*monkey CSS. I’m not very good on that, and this is my first time try to play with this CSS stuff.

It’s not an easy task, but I learn a lot from the mistakes.
